According to the President Moorosi Mokuena, this visit is mainly to understand the business culture and present needs which will aid in the drafting of a specific business venture suitable to the country.

He explained that in their short visit, they have met with the SLIEPA, ministries of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Trade and Industry and Environment Protection Agency (EPA).

He appreciated their business perspectives obtained so far and thanked Ambassador Sidique Wai, the Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the United States who encouraged the visit, with emphasis on certain sectors, one of which is Transport sector.

Minister Kabineh explained that the Transport sector is being transformed to include modern means of transportation and connecting of far flung areas to easily accessible towns and these will require significant resources, largely from private investors.

He assured of an enhanced ease of doing business, devoid of extortion and other corrupt practices.
