It could be recalled that just last week, the body of a ten years old boy was also found in the same building. Police say investigation is still ongoing.

Speaking to ASP Ibrahim Kallon, he told AYV that the youth attacked the police station after they found the second body. He maintained that both matters are currently under investigation.

The unfinished building where the two children were found dead is said to have no caretaker and no security.

According to some community people, the first child who was ten years old was found with parts of his body missing, while the second child was found allegedly drained of her blood in the same building.

Speaking to the Operations Commander ASP Ibrahim Kallon, he informed AYV that the youths are blaming the police as if it is the police that committed the crime. He said however that as a professional force they are responsible for protecting life and property of every person in Sierra Leone and therefore they will leave no stone unturned in uncovering the culprits.

Hon. John Kargbo representing Constituency 111 said he will do everything within his power to see the murderers brought to book. He assured the community people that he will soon summon the head of Police to Parliament for him to explain about the death of these two children and what the Police are doing about it.

Isata Thullah who is the Mother of Frances Rogers (the girl found dead), told AYV that her child went missing after a sports practice and that was what prompted the youths to demand when the Police refused to promptly investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book. She further disclosed that the Police at Rokel also fired tear gas canisters at the youths. Investigations continue.
