The opposition National Grand Coalition (NGC) has summoned all its Constituency Chairpersons to an emergency planning meeting scheduled to take place today, Thursday, at the Party’s national office on Heimawa Street in Kenema.
According to a statement from the Party, the meeting is being convened under the theme “U Touch One, U Touch All”, reflecting what party officials describe as a call for unity, solidarity, and collective action within the party’s ranks.
The emergency meeting is expected to focus on key internal party matters, strategic planning, and coordination of activities within the district. Party sources say the discussions will address recent developments affecting the party and outline measures aimed at strengthening its grassroots structures.
All Constituency Chairpersons have been strongly urged to make every effort to attend, as the meeting is considered critical to the NGC’s organisational effectiveness and political engagement at the constituency level.
“The attendance of all Constituency Chairpersons is crucial,” a party official said, noting that decisions taken at the meeting are expected to have a direct impact on the party’s operations and mobilisation efforts within the district.
The National Grand Coalition, one of the country’s opposition parties, has in recent times emphasised internal cohesion as it seeks to reposition itself and reinforce its presence ahead of future political engagements.
