Mr. Ndulu expressed elation over the award and thanked the media alliance for acknowledging his contribution towards nation building.

He however attributed the success story of the institution to the dedication of the general staff. He said he was very much pleased that Sierra Leoneans could be committed to their job in the manner the WAEC staff are.

“With this acknowledgement, I feel encouraged that there are people who acknowledge the work of the institution,” Mr. Ndulu reiterated, noting that fighting examination malpractices has been a very tough job.

The WAEC boss said he has served the institution for over 25 years, while describing the journey thus far as a rough road all the way.

He said the mandate of his institution is to conduct exams in the public interest and to release results and print certificates.

He used the forum as an opportunity to appeal to the government for mobility and improved facilities for staff.

Coordinator for the Media Alliance, Mr. Melvin S. Kargbo pointed out that the WAEC boss has been very instrumental in pushing forward the activities of the institution.

Mr. Kargbo also urged the WAEC boss to continue his relentless duties in the promotion of the president’s agenda for prosperity.

He called on the WAEC boss to remain steadfast and committed to delivering the goodies.
