“We want to take female football to another level that is why we insisted that all communities under FANT-SL should be able to produce a male team and at the same time a female team. We started it before the Ebola outbreak and we are going to continue from where we stopped,” she admitted.
Madam Hauerberg disclosed that the organization has ordered a container load of football equipment which is expected in Freetown very soon.
She said these equipment will be shared to the communities for their officials and players to use them for training purposes as well as use the kits play upcoming competitions that will be staged by FANT-SL.
In addition to that, she furthered that the organization is looking forward to hold its general assembly in May this year.
“This general assembly will be used as the forum where we shall be looking at our plan of activities for 2016/2017. We will also make significant decision in terms of our constitution as members will be looking at what should be added or reduced from it,” Madam Hauerberg maintained.
She added that four communities have joined the FANT-SL family and these communities include; Susan’s Bay, Goderich, Congo Town and Murray Town. According to her, the organization now has eight communities in Western Area registered with them.
