Minister of Finance, Hon. Sheku Fantamadi Bangura, has declared that Sierra Leone has successfully achieved macroeconomic stability, emphasising that the government remains firmly committed to safeguarding and sustaining these gains.
Speaking on the country’s economic direction, he stated:“We have achieved macroeconomic stability, and we remain committed to protecting and sustaining it as we continue to strengthen our economy.”
The statement underscores ongoing efforts to consolidate fiscal discipline, strengthen key economic indicators, and build a more resilient economy capable of supporting long-term national development.
The government says maintaining stability remains central to its broader agenda of economic transformation and inclusive growth.
