Zainab who is currently in Sierra Leone working on various fashion and film projects could not receive the award in person at the event held in Lagos on Saturday 26th March but her close friend who is also a modelist, Ramatu Wurie proudly stood up and received it on her behalf.
In 2014, Zainab was named among the 20 most beautiful African celebrities. A year later in 2015 her movie “Elephant in the Room” hit the cinemas in Nigeria and became the first Sierra Leonean movie nominated at 2016 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards. The former Big Brother housemate is also a member of Sugar Entertainment and has recently released her first single title “Mami Na Power”, she goes on telling the media that she is not ready for a break down therefore she will keep on being the top in whatever she does.
