There have been zero correct leakages in this year’s West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) so far. This was according to Dr David MoininaSengeh, Minister of Education who was speaking on how his ministry is fighting to increase quality in the education system.

He said there has been vigilant execution by stakeholders on the Communique on examination malpractice, while thanking ACC and Francis Ben Kaifala for helping in cleaning off the payroll for more committed teachers.

The minister went on to say it is better lower pass rates and credible exams than what used to happen. Stating: “We need help from parents and good students”.

He revealed that last week a female invigilator was assaulted for disrupting cheating at St Francis in Makeni. He called on the public to join in the fight to help stop the menace.
