Speaking to AYV, Abu Bakarr Kamara who is the Manager of the Foundation in Sierra Leone said the Chief Organizer based in Australia Unisa Fofanah is the one supporting the foundation in Sierra Leone, adding that the purpose of the foundation is to support the needy. He added that to achieve this, the foundation is involved in digging water wells and providing other humanitarian support to needy and vulnerable people. He said the foundation on regular basis supports education through award of scholarships in order to complement President Julius Maada Bio’s Free Quality Education (FQE) programme.

He added that cleaning of cemeteries is an annual event conducted by the foundation members in an effort to keep the environs clean and improve hygiene as well as ensure that thieves and other miscreants do not use cemeteries as hideouts and meeting places.

According to him the foundation is working hand-in-glove with the Freetown City Council (FCC) and the central government to assist in the monthly national cleaning exercise as their own contribution to national development.
