Rapid rehabilitation is ongoing at the Pujehun Government Hospital Secondary Health.

Below are photos of rehabilitation activities at the Pujehun Government Maternity Hospital and feeding activities is in full function and the nutrition Department is well equipped.

The water project is well completed and water supply is in full flow. However, monitoring team went to the correctional center to gather facts on how life looks like there. They interrogated some of the male and female people in the correctional center and gave them the opportunity to narrate their ordeals.

Syros is one the victims in the male correctional center. He explained to the team that: “their file cases are just stocked without trials”. The Magistrate stays in Bo and comes once after a long period of time. He went further to explain that most times they will call them for trials but to no attendance, instead they prefer attending to new cases.

The Pujehun Budget Oversight Committee narrated some of their challenges and constraints in monitoring these projects on behalf of MOFED as one of their key functions. Some of these challenges and constrains are: Firstly, lack of mobility to move from one town or village to other is a very big problem as a result they need motor cycle ,  secondly, they need office , as they have been moved from the office they initially occupied. Finally, most NGOs are not in place to explain details of their project implemented.
