over allegations of match-fixing relating to an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match in 2010 against South Africa, which ended in a goalless draw. The Press briefing was held at the SLFA academy in Kingtom.

 Retired Major Alfred Paolo Conteh is the chairman of the Match fixing committee, he says the said match fixing enquiry committee has served notices of the allegations made against persons of interest and persons who are expected to aid the enquiry, and also these persons have been informed that they are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. He pointed out that they have also been informed of their right to be given opportunity to be heard. He noted that they have divided the allegation into themes so as to properly deal with the issues raised without duplicating them.

TEAM 1 (one ) Merdeka Under 20 competition in Malaysia held in October 2008 which includes Malaysia vs Sierra Leone played on the  17th October 2008 and Afghanistan vs Sierra Leone played von the 19th October 2008.

TEAM 2 (two) Sierra Leone vs Syria international Friend played on the 5th June 2009. 

TEAM 3 (three) Carpe Verde vs Sierra Leone 2013

TEAM 4 (four) South Africa vs Sierra Leone 2010

TEAM 5 (five) Referees trip to Brazil

 

He however assured that they shall endeavour to be independent, impartial and dispassionate during the course of the enquiry and also shall be driven on the sole motive of truth seeking.
