According to the award presenters, Dr. Koroma has distinguished himself in the area of rebranding the health sector and general contribution to the agenda for prosperity.
In his brief statement after receiving the award, he said it came as a pleasant surprise and a blessing.
He has served in various key positions in the health sector including but not limited to medical superintendent at Bumbuna, Magburaka for some eleven years now.
He used the forum as an opportunity to call on the authorities to upgrade the hospitals in terms of medical equipment and security so as to reduce death.
Dr. A.P Koroma attained his first and second medical degrees in the Russian Federation with a distinction in post graduate studies.
