Hon. Lahai, said for the past fifteen and half years in Parliament she has served this nation in the best of her ability for the development of the nation.

The thanksgiving service was attended by family members, constituents, work mates, friends, women’s organizations, well-wishers and church members.

Dr. Lahai applauded her maker for making her an achiever, a promoter of good governance and democracy around the world with a strong support from her family members, friends and others. She said, she is looking forward to God for His next moves in her life with a good and prosperous life

A very well attended ceremony officiated by Rev. Father Ambrose Michael and Rev. Father Damba in which both Rev. Fathers prayed for her, family and  the nation.

In the International field, she has served as a Member of the European Joint Assembly and Member of African Caribbean Pacific, Vice President of the Pan African Parliament, she has also served as Committee Chairperson on Transport Industry Energy Science and Technology, President for Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition and other International Forums for Development.
