The gesture came following the handing over of the $1.5m worth of medical supplies to the Office of National Security (ONS) in Freetown.

James Pimundu, Country Director of Child Fund said the gesture is aimed to help alleviate the challenges of the August 14 victims, adding that their organization has been around for a long time working with children.

He said Child Fund thought it fit to come onboard and help the affected women regain their happiness, adding that his organization has been supportive in the provision of WASH facilities in the different displaced camps and help returned affected children back to school.
