The Leader of Alliance Democratic Party, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has dragged one Mohamed Bangura to court and was refused bail by Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Court No.1 on Siaka Steven Street in Freetown.
Police alleged that the accused Mohamed Bangura threatened to set ablaze the residence of Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray at Goderich, along Freetown -Peninsular Road in Freetown.
He is charged with the offence of Incitement Contrary to Law.
The accused is said to have committed the said offence on Wednesday 12th May 2018, at Majay Town Goderich, where he allegedly incited one Abass Fofanah through mobile phone to steal money from Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray.
Mohamed Bangura has been whisked to the Male Correctional Centre in on Pademba Road in Freetown.
The matter was prosecuted by Inspector, Isatu Gbassay Fofanah and the matter comes up again on Monday 11 June 2018.
In another development, a serving member of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces of Block 8 at Benguma Barracks in the outskirt of Freetown, Hassan Kamara has been charged to court for allegedly stealing one female donkey.
Fifty- three year old Hassan Kamara is charged with the offence of larceny cattle, contrary to Section (3) of the larceny act of 1916 of the laws of Sierra Leone.
The particulars of the offence indicated that accused Hassan Kamara allegedly stole one female donkey, valued sixteen million leones, on Friday 8 December 2017, at Jorpoh Farm, Palakoh Road at Waterloo in Freetown judicial district of the Republic of Sierra Leone, property of one Samuel Enitor King.
He is expected to appear before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of court N0.1 on Siaka Steven Street in Freetown.
