The Particulars of the Offence revealed that the accused person, Stanley Oluchi Ozoho on diverse dates between Friday 1 September 2017 to Friday 29 June 2018 at the Freetown International Airport, Lungi in the Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom in the Port Loko District in the northern province of the Republic of Sierra Leone conspired with other persons unknown to import prohibited drug to wit: Heroin from Mozambique to the Republic of Sierra Leone, contrary to law.

The accused person is also charged with the offence of importation of prohibited drug to wit: Heroin which contravenes Section (76) of the National Drugs Control Act of 2008 of the country’s laws; and that on Thursday 14 September 2017; the accused imported five kilograms of Heroin from Mozambique to the Republic of Sierra Leone without lawful authority.

Police also preferred the charge of Unlawful Possession of Prohibited Drug to wit: Heroin against the accused person that was concealed in a brown envelope inside a suitcase without lawful authority. The accused person was arrested by security officers at TOCU on 11 August 2018 at the Freetown International Airport in the Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom at Lungi in the northern part of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
