The accused persons are facing two count charges of Robbery and Robbery with Aggravation, which contravene section (25) sub section (1a) of the Larceny Act of 1916, as repealed and replaced section (2)  Act N0.6 of 1971.

Both accused persons, Ibrahim Kargbo and Mohamed Kargbo allegedly conspired together with unknown individuals to commit a Felony, contrary to law.

Police alleged that both accused persons being armed with a broken bottle robbed one Ibrahim Musa Kamara of one Samsung mobile phone, valued at nine hundred and fifty thousand Leones and one braze chain valued at thirty thousand Leones.

The charge sheet further disclosed that the accused persons also robbed the complainant, Ibrahim Musa Kamara of his wrist watch valued at twenty five thousand Leones all to the total value of one million, twenty thousand Leones.

The State alleged that the accused persons committed the said offences on Thursday 2018 at Model Junction in the central part Freetown capital.

In her committal address, the presiding Magistrate, Hannah Bonnie informed the court that the prosecution adduced sufficient evidence against both accused persons during preliminary investigations and found them wanting for trial in the High Court of Sierra Leone.

The matter was prosecuted by Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Mohamed. K. Massaquoi.

Meanwhile, a goldsmith Osman Bah has been remanded at the Male Correctional Centre at Pademba Road by Santigie Bangura presiding over the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 at Siaka Steven Street.

He is charged with the offence of Receiving Stolen Goods. Police alleged that the accused person Osman Bah did receive one pure gold chain valued at three thousand United States dollars, equivalent to twenty seven million Leones, property of Hawa Saffa.

The accused person was represented by three legal luminaries who canvassed the presiding magistrate to allow the accused bail. The matter was adjourned to Thursday 6 September 2018. (www.losaltosresort.com)
