Stolen Donkey’s Medical Report Tendered in Court

The accused is charged with the offence of Larceny Cattle, and that he committed the said offence together with other persons unknown to ransack the residence of the complainant, Samuel Enitor King at Jorpoh Farm, Waterloo back in 2017 and stole his donkey valued at sixteen million Leones.

Complainant Samuel Enitor King testified that he had an order form from his female donkey sanctuary in Great Britain, and that the copy of it was shown to the accused person, while he was in the dock.

According to court record the presiding Magistrate Santigie Bangura had ordered that the two prosecution witnesses who are yet to testify be served subpoena for them to give testimony on the next adjourned date.

The complainant Samuel Enitor King was represented by Barrister E.T. Koroma and the matter was prosecuted by police Sergeant, Festina Newstead.

The matter comes again on Friday 21 September this year.

In another development, four alleged criminals, Mohamed Osman Sesay, Alsia Assassin, Alhaji Mansaray and Lamin Sorie Sesay have re-appeared before Santigie Bangura presiding over the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 at Siaka Stevens Street for allegedly impersonating Brigadier Rtd. Julius Maada Bio, President of Sierra Leone and his Personal Assistant, Abdulai Sesay.

The charge sheet indicated that the four accused persons conspired together with unknown individuals to defraud David Chambers by impersonating the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Rtd. Brigadier Dr. Julius Maada Bio on Thursday 12 July 2018.

The State further alleged that the four accused persons conspired together with other persons unknown to also defraud the Managing Director of Mercury International, Martin Edmund Michael on Thursday 25 July 2018 within the jurisdiction of Sierra Leone.

The Particulars of Offence state that the accused persons falsely pretended through telephone communication with SIM Number; 078- 027- 077 and 079- 899- 577 to be the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and were found in full operation with the said SIM numbers without lawful authority. Hearing continues.
