Ernest Allison scored two goals in the first half for Old Edwardians Football Club against East End Lions to win the first edition Tornado Football Gala which lasted for three days at the Siaka Steven Stadium. The May Park Boys came into the grand final after defeating FC Johansen on post-match penalties while East End Lions had a narrow win against their rivals East End Tigers Football Club.The first edition Tornado Solution Football Cup saw four premier league clubs East End Tigers, FC Johansen, Old Edwardians and East End Lions taking part. The three day football gala commenced on Friday 1st November at the Siaka Stevens Stadium with a match between FC Johansen and Old Edwardians Football Club competing for 40 million Leones, according to Mohamed McCarthy Bangura media contact for Tornado Solution.The grand final saw the winner clinching the star prize and trophy while the runner-up East End Lions received their second place trophy. However, it could be recalled that at the just-concluded Sierra Leone Premier League, East End Lions collected four points from Old Edwardians FC and ended winning the league with an unbeaten run. Ironically, at the Tornado gala East End Lions stooped to the May Park Boys.
