Ripsta Culture Global Education Development Organization (GEDO) is a Finnish non-profit organization with branches in Sierra Leone and Kenya promoting education, Peace building, cultural exchange and empowerment especially among women and children. The Sierra Leone branch is headed by Cyril F. King.

According to Obi phrase, CEO of Ripsta Culture GEDO International, the Finish Government through their organization has extended an invitation to the Government of Sierra Leone to participate in their forth coming Multicultural Faces Festival which coincides with Finland Independence Anniversary celebration in August this year. He noted that in order to ensure  Sierra Leone participate fully in these events, they have engaged several other Government Institutions including the National Tourist Board, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism & Cultural Affairs. “This trip will help rebrand Sierra Leone’s image and we will use the opportunity also to further strengthen our country’s bilateral relationship with Finland’’ said Obi-phrase

The Director, Office of Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Kallay Musa Conteh pledged his institution’s commitments to collaborate with RIPSTA Culture on this programme.

Meanwhile, the Total Ripsta Culture Band will be hosting a free Band and Cultural Concert in front of the National Tourist Board Secretariat at Lumley Beach on Friday 2nd June, 2017 between the hours of 3:00pm- 7:30 pm.
