The National Secretary General of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party, Lansana Dumbuya has explained numerous advantages of the Party’s newly introduced Digital ID Card System, marking a significant shift from the previous analog system.

According to Lawyer Dumbuya, this technological upgrade is a critical advancement aimed at bolstering the internal structure of the APC and positioning the party for future growth.

One of the standout benefits highlighted by Dumbuya is the enhanced security that the digital ID cards offer. Each card is equipped with a unique identifier, making them nearly impossible to duplicate or misuse, thereby safeguarding the party’s membership database.

Additionally, the centralised database introduced alongside the digital cards ensures secure storage of member information. This allows for more streamlined management of party records, providing easy access to critical data and improving the overall efficiency of administrative processes.

Membership verification has also become more efficient under the new system. The digital platform simplifies verification during party events and activities, significantly reducing delays.

Moreover, the system fosters transparency and accountability by maintaining accurate and up-to-date member records, ensuring only legitimate members participate in party processes.

Lawyer Dumbuya also emphasised the convenience that the new digital ID cards bring. Members can now carry and use their cards more easily, particularly during elections and other major events, further enhancing the party’s operational efficiency.

Dumbuya underscored that this move towards digitalisation reflects the APC’s commitment to modernizing its processes in line with global technological trends. He concluded by expressing confidence that this system will strengthen the party’s internal framework and contribute to its continued success.
