In a much appreciated response, the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO) has graciously restored water supply in Port Loko, Northern Sierra Leone.
It was reported that the continuous blasting of the Degremont Control Panel which had been in operation for ages would have caused unbearable damage to the Treatment Plant and Operators, as narrated by Ing. Hamid A. Kamara, SALWACO’s Station Manager in Port Loko.
However, the old panel has been replaced by a new water treatment control panel.
SALWACO assures its clients and customers of safe and reliable water supply whiles urging all and sundry to accordingly pay for services as justified.
