The National Secretary General of the main opposition, All People’s Congress (APC) Party, Lansana Dumbuya has appealed to the Party’s supporters and members to put the interests of the APC above personal interests.
Mr. Dumbuya was addressing APC supporters in Makeni, Bombali district, where he encouraged them to ignore all false rumours circulating on social media about the leadership of the Party.
He provided a comprehensive analysis on the outcome of the Tripartite dialogue, highlighting the significance of its recommendations for the future of the Party, while further extending his appreciation to the former President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, acknowledging his substantial developmental contributions to the country.
He described the APC to be “a congress of people who are determined to change this country”.
In a similar development, the APC National Chairman, Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray has reaffirmed the Party’s commitment to bringing positive change to Sierra Leone.
Mansaray, who is also a key figure in the Party’s leadership, began his address by honouring the former President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, emphasising his roots in Bombali district.
He called for unity within the Party, emphasising that his leadership aims to reposition the APC with a fresh approach.
He assured all potential aspirants that a level playing field would be maintained but warned against any ambitions that could divide the Party.
Addressing the youth, Mansaray strongly advised against the use of drugs and urged stakeholders in the Bombali district to take proactive steps in completing the APC headquarters in Makeni by setting up a dedicated technical committee.
He concluded by calling on all APC members and supporters to build upon the legacy of Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
