Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio has called on graduates of Milton Margai Technical University (MMTU) to join in the ongoing implementation of the BIG-5 Game Changers.

She was speaking during the University’s second congregation ceremony held at the Peace and Love Amphitheatre Goderich Campus, hosting the conferment of degrees, diplomas and certificates to 2,848 graduates.

Dr. Fatima Bio urged the graduates to team up to help implement the Big 5 Game Changers, which are a set of five transformative initiatives unveiled by President Julius Maada Bio and which, if well implemented, are expected to propel Sierra Leone to new heights.

Lady Fatima emphasised that the education given to the new graduates is a foundation for driving innovation and development in the nation, while reminding them that Sierra Leone is therefore counting on their contributions towards the BIG-5.

Dr. Fatima Bio advised the graduates to manage their expectations and remain focused on creating meaningful change. Dr. Fatima Maada Bio said: “Education is the catalyst for change,” tying the event’s theme to the graduates’ potential impact on the nation’s future.
