East End Lions Football Club are champions of the 2024/25 Sierra Leone Men’s Premier League sponsored by Leone Rock Metal Group. This came following the 2-0 defeat of their close contenders Bhantal FC to Bo Rangers at Southern Arena in Bo on 16th August.
The champions currently have 69 points with two games to play against Star Sports Academy on 18th August at Approved School Field in Freetown, where the trophy will be presented to the club, and Kamboi Eagles on 23rd August in Kenema.

In his victory message to the Club, Chairman of East End Lions FC, Amb. Anthony Navo Jr. said, “To our incredible fans, players, coaching staff, sponsors, and the entire football-loving nation of Sierra Leone, it is with immense pride and deep gratitude that I address you today as Chairman of East End Lions FC, the 2024/2025 Sierra Leone Premier League Champions. This is more than a victory, it is a triumph of resilience, unity, and unshakable belief. From the very first whistle of the season, we set out not just to compete, but to make history and today, we stand tall as CHAMPIONS. This achievement reflects the hard work, sacrifice, and dedication of everyone associated with this great club. To our players, your passion, discipline, and relentless pursuit of excellence have written your names into the history books.

“To our coaching and technical staff your leadership and vision have shaped a team that plays with heart, honor, and purpose. To our fans, your unwavering support lifted us through every challenge. This title belongs to you just as much as it belongs to those on the pitch. This victory is not the end it is a new beginning. A sign that our club is ready to represent Sierra Leone with pride on every stage, at home and abroad. As Chairman, I will lead the team to represent Sierra Leone at the CAF Champions League against Tunisia’s Union Sportive Monastirienne in the preliminary qualifiers. Let this championship remind every young boy and girl in Sierra Leone that with hard work, discipline, and unity, dreams do come true. Meanwhile, the Killers have been drawn against Tunisia’s Union Sportive Monastirienne in the preliminary qualifiers of the CAF Champions League this September.
They will kick off the two-legged tie at home, hosting US Monastirienne in the first leg on 19/20 September, before travelling to Tunisia for the return fixture the following week.
