As he poised to launch his National Manifesto today, John Sisay engaged societal stakeholders who are grounded on various disciplines such as law, economy, health, education, youth/human rights activist among others, in order to develop a strategic S.M.A.R.T. -Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Results-focused, and Time- bound National- ‘Betteh Tok’ Manifesto.

“If you are going to change something, you must ask the people who that change is going to be effected by…you don’t need to have a P.H. D or Masters to know the problems of Sierra Leone, but the difficulty is always the solution” Sisay noted as he continued that as a formidable movement, through the ‘Betteh Tok’ programme they have been conducting consultative meetings and  better communication with people from all works of life throughout the country, a situation he said enabling his movement to better understand the challenges confronting Sierra Leoneans, with that comprehension he ascertained that he will be placed in the appropriate traction to salvage and continue the developmental trend of President Koroma.

Head of Administration –Join for Better Salone, Peter Taplima Mansaray said together with the people of Sierra Leone they have developed eight thematic areas in governance and leadership, he however laid emphasis on five broad thematic discipline (Economy, Youth, Justice, Health and Justice sector).

Stakeholders participating in the ‘Betteh Tok’ programme were segmented into groups based on their societal expertise in governance, leadership and public administration in the aforementioned five thematic areas.

The leader of the J4BS Movement, John Sisay, articulated vividly and eloquently about management and economic growth along with monitoring and evaluation. He said he will replicate his success as CEO of Sierra Rutile for the benefit of Sierra Leone.

The days of economic growth, infrastructural development, standard education and prosperity are forthcoming for Sierra Leoneans’ he noted.
