According to the program manager of Nethips, Martin Ellie any person with HIV has right to access health services in any facility across the country.

 He encouraged persons’ living with HIV to go to any nearest hospital for free medical treatment , and added that  the discrimination and stigmatization was one of major challenges faced by people with the dangerous virus.

Martin Ellie further encouraged people living with the virus to go for treatment regularly and cautioned HIV counselors in the health facilities in various part of the country to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in the discharge of the duties.

 

The counselor at the Ola During hospital Kadijatu Bangura also reiterated that appealed people living with HIV to go for treatment regularly, as they should not be ashamed to seek medical treatment.
