‘As in past times of adversity, we are prepared to continue working with your government to assist Sierra Leone’s recovery’, President Donald J. Trump concluded.

His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma on behalf of the Government and people of Sierra Leone and on his own personal behalf expressed profound gratitude to President Trump, the Government and the people of the United States of America for what he described as the show of support and solidarity to Sierra Leone during this period of great national and personal grief.

President Koroma also seized the opportunity to join the rest of his colleague Heads of State in offering his sincerest and deepest condolence and sympathy to President Donald Trump, the bereaved families, and the people of Texas, for the loss of lives and massive destruction to property resulting from hurricane Harvey. ‘My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families, especially those that have lost dear ones’, President Koroma concluded.
