At the one day event, Ambassador Dr. Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh, Secretary General of the APC addressing the party faithful where he robustly defended the APC party’s democratic credentials.

 

“Election or selection the bottom line is a consensus. Institutional Memory appears extremely strategic in this.” Ambassador Yansaneh stated.

 

He read official appointment letters signed by him and endorsed by Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, National Chairman and Leader of the APC. The letters officially endorses the selects executive members for the three categories above.

 

The weekend Convention saw the announcement and endorsement of 16 District Executives, 5 Regional Executives and 132 Constituency Executives of the APC countrywide.

 

The ambassador went on to quote Sections from the APC Constitution that certifies the appointments/selections of the new executive members. Thomas Conteh was endorsed President for APC National Veterans Association, Elizabeth Mans as National Women’s Congress President and Bai Mahmud Bangura as National Youth League President respectively.

 

The three presidents got a long list of executive members that they would be working with from all regions. After their endorsements, the three new leaders delivered speeches of togetherness; peace and collaboration aimed at getting their memberships to work towards ensuring success for the APC in the March 2018 elections.
