Alhaji Foray, Head Coach – Sierra Leone Female U-17 national team, has promised to line up a powerful and flexible side against the Gambians when they face-off in tomorrow’s encounter.

He said this is the first leg of the 2018 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier preliminary round, adding that the technical team has prepared the girls for a very good and successful encounter against the Gambians as they are set to win and secure all three points in front of their home crowd.

He emphasized on the importance of the Sierra Leone side to win tomorrow’s match so as to give them the advantage in the return leg in Gambia few weeks away from now.

It can be recalled that Sierra Leone female football has been dormant for over three years now in the country.

Winner in both legs will have to face Ghana in the second rounds preliminary to be played in December this year, prior to the third and final rounds of the qualifier in February 2018 against the winner between Tunisia and Djibouti or Libya.
