The Zindaba Senior Alumni of Lower and Upper Six Classes of 1988-1990 under the auspices of The Amir Lawyer Musa Mewa The Head of Mission Ahmadiyya Sierra Leone, Other Board Members, Principals for both Junior and Senior secondary schools, a cross section of members of the alumni, pupils, journalists and other members of the public, has handed over two renovated classes and the school library to the school authorities.
The event was held on 8th September, 2025 on the hallowed grounds of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School Kissy Dock Yard Freetown.
The funds for this project came from generous contributions of its members both at home and the diaspora and they include Messrs Abdul Sesay (USA), Imam Sulaiman Barrie (USA), Lansana Sesay (USA), Omar Sesay (England), Mohamed Kamara (USA), Funky (USA), Jaia Kai Kai (USA), Lt. Gen (Rtd.) Sullay I. Sesay (Former CDS) (USA), Osman Shaw (USA) Abu Bakar Bakar Bah (USA), Alusine Conteh (USA), Ibrahim Bah, Rep. of Ireland, Umaru Bamba (Switzerland), and from Sierra Leone Dr. Abdulai Walon-Jalloh, Dr. Joseph Thullah, Henry Mathew Moseray, Aruna Akim Turay, Nfa Alie Kebe, Alie Mansaray, Daphne Mason, Memunatu Joaque Sesay, Baba Faro, Alhassan Jalloh, Dr. Abass Kamara, Amidu Koroma, Director Augustine T. Presently, the two classes, library and the frontage have received a considerable facelift in a record time.
The roof has been pvcied. Further, the walls and the roofs have been electrified. Also, the walls have also been masticked and painted and the floors and frontage tiled and plastered.
This gesture from the Senior Alumni Zindaba Lower and Upper Six Classes of 1988-1990 is a welcome intervention and an eye opener to the old pupils of Zindaba Kissy Dock Yard Freetown. The current crop of pupils are expected to grow up and give back to their wonderful alma mater
It is hoped that both pupils and learners will be working together in an enhanced and inspiring environment.
