“We have to be proud of our Nation because amongst all the negatives, we still have a lot of positives that we never talk about just because the entire situation in our beloved country is being politicized,” said Alonzo.

He added: “Let’s forget about party affiliations and put Sierra Leone first in everything because remember we are not even guaranteed that the next Government will deliver to our expectations. Alonzo is in no support of any political party but is proud to see some great work being done by the present Government and is urging every Sierra Leonean to come together in unity and support our leaders in building the country as we all have a role to play.

Alonzo is also aware of the high level of corruption in public offices, poverty, etc. etc. but believes that together in unity we can make a change.

“Be a patriotic citizen because no matter what, Sierra Leone is all we’ve got,” he says.

Sierra Leone is a country going through a transitional period and even though there are so many negative things happening like corruption, which is a global disease, it is evident that the country is developing slowly.

You can listen to more of these positive vibes by checking out Alonzo’s song ‘Tok Bot Salone’.
