The All People’s Congress (APC) Party Mayoral runningmate, Kweku Lisk has revealed his vision for Freetown should his team win the 2023 Mayoral election.

Kweku Lisk is the runningmate of Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, the Mayoral candidate for the APC.

Mr. Lisk said his passion for sports ignited during his formative years and that growing older, he did not only remain actively involved in football administration but also carved a name for himself as a corporate lawyer.

Mr. Lisk said: “Beyond my legal expertise, I have made significant contributions to the philanthropic sector, solidifying my position as a prominent figure in Sierra Leone.

“My journey commenced at the Sierra Leone Grammar School, where I laid the foundation for my future endeavors. My dedication and commitment eventually led me to become the managing partner of BMT Law Chambers, where I specialised in corporate matters, property claims, and land issues.

“Through my extensive involvement with numerous organisations, including Friends of Super, my influence has reached far and wide. I served as the personal lawyer of the late famous Moseray Fadika and played a pivotal role in bringing African Minerals to Sierra Leone.

“Even after Fadika’s unfortunate passing, I have carried the torch for positive change, passionately leading the Friends of Super initiative.”

Kweku Lisk shed light on the profound significance of AWOL (All Works of Life) and its transformative impact on Sierra Leone. As the former Chairman of AWOL and a close collaborator of the Late Moseray Fadika, Kweku Lisk said he has firsthand experience of the organisation’s profound philanthropic endeavors.

He said he firmly believes that transparency and accountability form the bedrock of Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr’s Transform Freetown agenda and that with dedication, he pledges to be a resolute advocate for the people of Freetown, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed.

Kweku Lisk urged voters to recognise what he referred to as “the remarkable achievements of Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr and make their voting decisions based on competence rather than superficial considerations”.

He emphasised the necessity for Freetonians to unite and rally behind Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr’s transformative vision, adding; “together, we can ensure that the legacy of progress continues for the benefit of all.”

He said the decision for him to join forces with Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr as her runningmate stems from the party’s pursuit of competency, reliability and a proven track record of positive change.

In conclusion, “our transformative vision holds the promise of a brighter future for Freetown. Our dedication to transparency, accountability and community service sets them apart from their political counterparts”.
