The complainant told the well attended court session that whiles he was struggling with the first accused together with his accomplices, his wife came out to enquire, and the accused coerced both of them to sit on the floor , after they had been tied them with a long rope.

He informed his audience that the alleged armed robbers demanded for money, his necklace, passport, and they forcefully took away their wedding rings, mobile phones, plasma television, sewing machines, and jewelleries including perfumes.

Mamoud sisc narrated that the accused later entered into their bedroom and threatened to kill his son, if both of refused to give them what they had demanded for, stating that the accused persons also told him that they were not at his residence to steal his properties, but to kill him and his family, but that they later ended up carting away with huge quantity of goods and household properties .

He explained that he managed to escaped from the armed robbers by jumping through the window to the basement  , before he jumped over a wall fence of his residence and fled into a nearby bush, leaving his wife and son at the mercy of the marauding robbers, who he said also carted away with his vehicle.

Whiles I was trying to escape, he said, he heard one of the accused persons attempting to rape his wife, but that he heard his wife pleading with them, not rape her as she was HIV/AID positive.

The complainant also narrated that, after he had fled into a nearby bush, he rushed to a military guard post at the Benguma training Barracks for assistance, but that the military personnel were afraid to leave their guard post.

He said he went to the Waterloo Police station, where he was accompanied by a team of police officers to the scene of crime, but that before they could reach, the armed robbers had deserted the scene and abandoned his car, after they had ran away with the stolen goods .

“On the following morning I went to the emergency hospital for treatment and later made a formal report at the Waterloo Police Station, after which a police medical report form was issued to me for examination and treatment at the Rokupr government hospital,” Sisc stated.
