Mr. Mansaray made this disclosure Wednesday 30th March, 2016 during the disruption at the premises of the House of Parliament following his protest against the approval of Mr. Mohamed Bangura and Dr. Christiana Thorpe. Commotion broke-out during the protest wherein Mr. Mansaray alleges that he was prevented by supporters of Mr. Bangura from entering the Committee Room #1 where the scrutiny process was held by the Parliamentary Committee on Appointment and Public Service.

Mr. Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray claimed that during commotion, the alleged Mohamed Bangura’s supporters reigned invectives on his personality and almost physically attacked him. He revealed that the police did not stop the abusers but asked him to leave the premises in the interest of peace and tranquility. He humbly said because of his personality as a humble person, who is in love with peace and a hater of aggression and violence, he peacefully left the scene to maintain sanity.

He claimed the decision of the Sierra Leone Police who were at the scene was ill-motivated and was based on political influence. Mr. Mansaray said if the police at the scene were professional they should have stopped the abusers from reigning invectives on him and made arrests.

However, the ADP Leader and Chairman acknowledges that there are some professionals in the Sierra Leone Police Force, while urging the leadership of the police force to ensure more competent people are recruited into the force.
