Two journalists from the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire, Marina Terry and Memunatu Suma, are currently representing Sierra Leone and AYV at the 13th Specialised Training Course for Anglophone African Broadcasters currently taking place in Cairo, Egypt.
The training, themed, ‘Luxury Marketing in the Media Field’, brings together journalists and media professionals from eight African countries including Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Somalia, Liberia, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, and Mauritius.
It aims to enhance knowledge and skills in promoting wealth creation, luxury brand communication, and marketing through media platforms.
This program provides participants with the opportunity to engage with top media experts, exchange ideas, and explore innovative approaches to storytelling and marketing in the evolving media landscape.
AYV’s Terry and Suma are two of Sierra Leone’s top broadcasters, who are currently showcasing the nation’s growing media excellence and commitment to professional development on the international stage.
The training is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and capacity-building among African broadcasters, facilitating a new generation of media practitioners equipped to drive positive change across the continent.
