Football club owner Babadi Kamara has resigned as Sierra Leone’s National Team Manager after two years in the role.

Kamara, who was appointed in 2021, helped the Leone Stars during the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.

He made this announcement, in a short statement to the BBC’s Sport Correspondent Mohamed Fajah Barrie.

Babadi’s term as National team Manager saw the participation of Leone Stars in more friendlies and professional competitions, a demand of players, officials and supporters fulfilled.

His resignation comes after the final day of the Sierra Leone Football Association Ordinary Congress.
