Our investigations further revealed that the deceased was caretaker on a disputed land at Jorpoh Farm and was residing in one of the houses constructed by Samuel Enitor King who had instituted several court actions against some officers of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF), who had occupied the said Jorpoh Farm, since the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Sierra Leone.

About a year ago, one Sergeant Major Hassan Kamara was charged to court for allegedly stealing a donkey valued at sixteen million Leones, belonging to Samuel Enitor King, but up to date the matter is still languishing in court.

Up to press time no suspect has been arrested in respect of the murder incident that left many residents in that part of country feeling unsecured and vulnerable to frequent attacks from marauding, unknown gun men.

AYV can authoritatively confirm that Abubakar Jalloh is the third person to have been killed by unknown gun men who are claiming ownership of Jorpoh Farm community.

When the first murder incident occurred at Jorpoh Farm about a year ago, some suspects were arrested and brought to the Criminal Investigation Department Headquarter for investigation, but were later put on bail and the said suspects were later released.

According to reports, officers at the Ross Road Police Station are presently investigating the alleged murder of Abubakar Jalloh which was reported by his wife Mariama Barrie of Songo Bridge, Waterloo.

A post-mortem examination has already been performed on the remains of Abubakar Jalloh by Dr. Simeon Owizz Koroma and the body will be conveyed to Guinea for burial.

Investigations continue.
