Former Leone Stars Team Manager and current Chairman of the Brookfields United FC, a Division One Club in the Western Area, Christian Dauda, has handed over some Adidas Swimming Gears to the Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Association for the Sierra Dolphins to use at the Birmingham 2022 Common Wealth Games.

Presenting the items, Christian Dauda said his long-lasting amicable relationship with the Swimming President, Mohamed Abdul Turay has prompted him to make the donation to the team.

These items he said will help the Team in their preparation for the games which are expected to start in 72 hours.

While applauding the Swimming executive for their tremendous strides in promoting aquatics sports in Sierra Leone and internationally, Christian affirmed his continued support to the Sierra Leone Swimming Diving and Water Polo Association.

Receiving the items in London, the SLSDWA Secretary General, Abdul Turay expressed the Association’s delight upon receiving the equipment, while thanking the donor for his generous gesture towards the Association.

The aquatic items (swimming suits, swimming tights, swimming kit bags, goggles, tracksuits, slippers, and body towels) will be used for their intended purposes, he assured, concluding by assuring Christian of executive’s continued good working relationship.
