Premier League Champions, East End Lions Football Club has confirmed the return of former player and Head Coach Abu Magic Sankoh aka Short Abu, as Assistant Coach to Head Coach Isaac Kofi Sarfo Castro.

Short Abu brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about the club and Sierra Leone football, having previously worked with the team in various capacities.

Sankoh expressed his excitement about rejoining the club, emphasising his anticipation to collaborate with Coach Castro and contribute to the team’s success.

He reiterated his commitment to nurturing young players and fostering the growth of the Club and football generally in Sierra Leone.

Coach Castro warmly welcomed Sankoh back to the team, lauding his unwavering dedication and passion for the sport. He expressed confidence that their partnership will be advantageous for the Club, propelling them towards their objectives in the ongoing league campaign.

In addition, former players Mohamed Fomah (Medo) and Abu Bakarr Kamara (Menta) joining the backroom staff as trainers with former Goalkeeper Mohamed Jalloh (Shiekh Shiekh) returning as interim Goalkeeper Coach.

With Coach Abu Sankoh and others return, the Club hopes to build on their previous successes and continue to be a competitive force in Sierra Leone football under the leadership of Coach Isaac Kofi Sarfo Castro.

Fans eagerly anticipate the new coaching team’s impact on the team and are excited to see what the future holds for their beloved Club.
