Premier League Champions, East End Lion (E.E Lions) Football Club has signed a long-term contract with Mohamed Sorie Kanu commonly known as ‘Robinho’.

During the signing process, Kanu expressed excitement in joining the Club, adding that the new development is a big boost to his career.

He assured that the Club will not regret signing him and that he is ready to showcase his professional football skills to make his fans and Club proud.

Concluding, the Player thanked the executives of East End Lions for making one of his dreams come true, as he has forever aim to play for a bigger Club.

Chairman of E.E Lions, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. said: “We are very determined to defend our title as the Champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League. Robinho is joining the squad to strengthen the attacking midfielder and the central positions.

He has a lot of fantastic attributes, great personality as a person and as a football player and so we are very excited to have him be part of the E.E Lions family.”

The Club’s Chairman assured that there are plans to sign in more professional players from across the world with a view to promote the Club and give a new face to the game in the country.

The East End Lions Football Club was founded in 1928. It is a professional football club based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The Club plays in the national Premier League and has won over 11 league titles with the most recent been the 2019/2020 Sierra Leone Premier league.

The Club has represented the country in regional and continental inter-club competitions and emerging as runner-up in 1996 in the West Africa Football Union Cup.
