Speaking at the recent launch of ECOFEST Sierra Leone 2018 was the CEO of Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment – Abu Bakarr Turay Esq. He revealed that his passion for music stems from his dream to take Sierra Leonean music to the international scene, adding that ECOFEST is the perfect platform to do that.

He thanked Africell for believing in his dream and for giving him the opportunity to host the biggest music festival ever in Sierra Leone.

John Konteh from Africell & AI-Radio 105.3 FM re-echoed the management’s continuous desire and support to boost talented Sierra Leoneans to achieve their dreams.

Present at the press conference was Africell Brand Ambassador and godfather of Sierra Leone music – Jimmy Bangura aka Jimmy B, as well as the Nasser Ayoub (also an Africell Ambassador) KME artists, representatives from the Sierra Leone DJs Union, representatives from East End Artists Union and a host of journalists.

This show promises to be the blueprint to elevating the music industry not only in Sierra Leone and the sub-region, but the entire African continent.
