Sierra Leone’s Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security, Mohamed Rahman Swaray and the Presidential Adviser on Job Creation, Alpha Osman Timbo have arrived in Saudi Arabia to attend the Global Labour Market Conference (GLMC) scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 13th to  14th December, 2023.

The conference is an international and multi-stakeholders meeting of policy makers, industry leaders, forward-thinking organisations and visionary experts across the world, meeting to enrich their understanding of labor market mega-trends, developments in labor laws and standards, and policies and programs to future-proof workforces and workplaces.

Hon. Swaray and Mr. Timbo were welcomed by the Deputy Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Saudi Arabia,  His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Koroma, and the Acting Head of Chancery of the Embassy, Mohamed Sulaiman Sankoh.

The Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC) will be a platform for development of innovative solutions to the major challenges facing labor markets today.

An international and multi-stakeholder meeting of policymakers, industry leaders, forward-thinking organizations and visionary experts, the Conference will enrich our understanding of labor market mega-trends, developments in labor laws and standards, and policies and programs to future-proof workforces and workplaces.
