Many of the disgruntled senior stakeholders of the party are quietly distancing themselves and are even reluctant to make financial contributions to the party if the current administration remains in charge”. Robin stated.
He demanded that the current National Chairman and Leader of the party, Ernest Bai Koroma, his deputy Minkailu Mansaray, scribe Osman Foday Yansanneh and all other current executive members including his very self to resign immediately and call for an early national convention.
According to him, the Koroma team is now tired and will not be able to continue leading the party to the next election, adding that the team can no longer provide the much needed political leadership the APC now required.
He said the EBK team is now tired, exhausted and does not have the needed time to provide a full time leadership for the party.
Robin went on to say, EBK has done his bit over the years but that he can no longer continue to do so and the party needs a leader that is accessible, one that the people can communicate with easily and above all, a leader that can physically stand side by side with his people to challenge the ruling government on key issues of national interest.
The APC second spokesman went on to say if the much needed reforms in the party are what would bring the much needed sanity and effective participation of all, then its membership should all sacrifice positions in order to salvage the situation.
