Left winger George Davies who is playing professional football in Austria for Saint Polten, has been named most valuable player of the season. The Sierra Leonean who is based in Austria playing professional football has made 10 appearances for the national team Leone Stars but is yet to score. Davies was in Latvia playing for Riga but was later loaned to SKN St. Polten in Austria. Out of 12 clubs in the top-tier Austrian League, his side SKN St. Polten finished sixth position with 36 points. The 1.38 meters left-winger Davies was part of the Sierra Leone Liberia match. The technical team of Leone Stars is expecting to call him up for this month’s clash against Lesotho in Freetown.
