The registration exercise was extended by the National Electoral Commission in a verge   to encourage all and sundry to participate in the registration process.

“Some of the reasons why we took up such ventures are as follows;                                                                                                                                        – Considering the time of this operation in mind, it is in the dry season and the hottest time of the year, many people of different ages suffered the heat gesticulate                                                                                                                     – The number of registration centres don’t seem to be adequate.                                                                                                                        – In some areas, one has to walk three to five miles distance in order to access a registration centre. – In some centres, the machines are faulty, due to that some people are going to other areas to access the registration process.” N’Bompa mentioned.

Joseph Saidu told reporters that he was very sympathetic to help the poor not because of politics, but to share with people what he had received from donors. He appealled that Sierra Leoneans must compliment the President Dr, Ernest Bai Koroma Agenda for Prosperity program with brotherliness, love and focus to make mother Salone great.

Distribution was done not on tribal, religious or political affiliation. It was done on progressive philanthropic disposition.

Turay applauded the donors for their tremendous effort, as he uttered that together ‘we can make our beloved Sierra Leone, a great paradise on earth.’                                                                                                                                               This exercise was on charity basis.

“The idea came from my heart as I love my country as well citizens of our beloved nation. I wish I have the ability to do this right across the country. However, I felt gratified owing to the fact most of the recipients blessed me as they sipped down my water in the hot burning sun.”  Turay noted.

Finally, the registration exercise had already ended successfully; some people argued that they were lied upon as to the use of the cards. I am with the opinion that the government meant what they said pertaining to its uses. I also believed that some people are left out of the exercise due to one reason or the others.
