She spoke softly but passionately and that left many observers wondering what manner of wonderful human being is this?

Hon. Samba said she was inside the Magistrate Court as a complainant to fight for her rights by prosecuting Tim under the Law but not to persecute him.

“I hold a post-graduate degree in Human Rights law and so I’m mindful of rights of Accused persons which rights I know come with corresponding duties that the Accused has failed to adhere to. I am not opposed to him being granted bail because the essence of bail conditions is merely to secure the appearance of an accused in court,” the highly learned Appeals Court judge stated as she reiterated her wish for Mahmud Tim Kargbo to be granted bail whilst the matter proceeded to clear her name through a judicial process.

In summary, the Honourable Lady Judge wants her name to be cleared in open court but she did not want to appear to be an oppressor of the offender Tim Mahmud Kargbo.

However, Tim was resent to Pademba Prison again last evening after friends and relatives frustratingly exhausted all avenues to secure his bail but unfortunately, a single document that was part of the bail conditions that could not be reached unto the close of court.

The criminal matter will go on at the next adjourned date whilst Tim Kargbo is highly expected to be release today Wednesday.
