According to sources, the fine politician is not a happy man and can reach any decision now, especially amidst his latest disagreement with his colleague MP, Hon. Paran Tarawally, who doubles as Clerk of Parliament and some members of the SLPP.
Hon. Tawa’s decision to challenge and question accountability in the House of Parliament over the weekend saw senior members of his party, including National Publicity Secretary and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Lahai Lawrence Leema accusing him of putting up an “Unparliamentarily Conduct that amounts to Anti-Party conduct”. Leema also called on authorities of the party to strongly look into the honorable’s act.
It can be recalled that past Friday 22nd November, 2019, the two MPs engaged each other in an unhealthy public discussion, thereby accusing each other of corruption and misappropriation using some indecent words to describe themselves.
For this, there have been several calls from the public for the Anti-Corruption Commission to step in and investigate the House of Parliament on allegations made by the two MPs against each other.
