He went on to state that it was the Editor of the Independent Observer Newspaper, Jonathan Leigh  who misinformed the general public  in one of his newspaper editions, that he had been expelled from the party, but that Jonathan Leigh  had long retracted the said article and personally  apologized to him, Osman noted.

Osman further stated that he happened to be  the only contending flagbearer aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party and he has the backing of his party executive.

Osman Tarawally disclosed that he decided to stay indoors and refused to grant interview to the various media personnel that contacted him as a result of the holy month of Ramadan, as he faithfully promised to storm the media with his agenda to transform Sierra Leone.

He said that when he assumed the political hegemony of Sierra Leone , come March 7 2018 presidential election in the country,   he would  initiate dependable economy  policies and programmes that would put an end to vicious circle, chronic persistent  hunger , illiteracy, corruption and other ills that were  stagnating Sierra Leone’s posture to achieved economic prosperity.

People’s Democratic Party aspiring presidential candidate, Osman Tarawally also noted that if  elected  president of Sierra Leone come March 7 2018 presidential elections ,  he would prioritized agriculture and focus more on advancing the country’s fishing industry for the sole purpose of eradicating  poverty in Sierra Leone.

“We should forget about minerals like gold, diamond, rutile, bauxite and crude oil and pay special attention to developing Sierra Leone’s fishing industry,” Osman Tarawally asserted.

He pointed out that large amount of fishes sold to Europe and beyond was from Sierra Leone, and that he would leave no stone unturned to  stop  illegal exportation  of the country’s fish products.

Osman also informed AYV that his party would hold its national delegates conference any time from now, and was very much confident he would go unopposed , as no member of the People’s Democratic Party had vie for the leadership of the party since 2013.

He maintained that flagbearer aspirants of the other political parties in the country did not match his status.

Concluding , Osman Tarawally stated that he had  versatile knowledge in  both Arabic and English education, as he was decorated with a degree in Astronomy from Oxford University and the  University of Liberia.
