Female staff of the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire took over broadcast on all AYV Television Channels – 33 and 34 and also on AYV Radio 101.7 shows, to celebrate the International Women’s Day 2023.

Throughout the day, all AYV Tv and radio programmes were being designed, produced, presented and moderated by the beautiful female faces and voices of the Empire, led by Phebean Swill as Chief Producer and accompanied by Olayinka Olu-Collier, Elizabeth Momoh, Dzulaitu Hamid, Christocia Williams, Davidnette Vandi, Mariama Sonnie Koroma, Patricia Koroma, Eddiema Conteh and Rosetta Fourlagawo, former Sky News, C5 News, ITV, UK’s leading media companies’ staff, recently appointed as AYV’s Director of Training, Editorial Policy and Standards.

Joined by other female staff of the Empire, the AYV’s International Women’s Day Special Team presenters and moderators took turns on various designed women’s programmes on radio and Tv to discuss the special Day for Women.

The Team got the views of women across the country on the Day and challenges they face nationally day after day.

Key amongst other issues discussed were the ‘safety of women – violence against women; the support for women in politics; the growth of women in male dominated society and the disparity of empowerment – able women and women with disability.

The management of women catered a lunch treat for all the women on duty in appreciation of their service to the company and celebration of the International Women’s Day.
